Acrysil

 | Silicone resin emulsion paint.
The building construction materials are mostly mineral based and they have high porous surface structure which readily absorbs water, the exterior facade get damaged and discoloured by rain and atmospheric pollutants. The latest technology of building construction is the use of insulating masonry and lightweight blocks and plasters which retains water and moisture. Any absorbed moisture must be able to escape to the atmosphere to protect interiors. To overcome these problem there is need of a coating which must have very high water - vapour permeability, low water absorption, attractive decorative appearance and extreme durability. ACRYSIL meets all these requirements with mineral like matt finish.
Benefits
- Ready to use.
- Brushable, roller and sprayable.
- Attractive colour shades.
- Excellent water repellency - there is no swelling, flaking or darkening of the finish even after heavy rain and water pressure.
- High permeability to water vapour and carbon dioxide - open poredsurface propertyensure a controlled water and gas equilibrium. There is also no effect on thermal conductivity or insulation or carbonation.
- Very good resistance to weathering, industrial emissions and microbial attack - the surface remains permanently dry.
- Paintability - because of chalky matt texture, can be easily painted.
- Solventfree - water born excellent environmental compitable.
- No dirt pickup.
- No fire hazards.
End Uses
ACRYSIL is an attractive and protective duel function coating last for more than a decade, recommended on whether it is a old or newly built residential, muncipal, industrial, conservational & repair of historic buildings.

Technical Characteristics
| Nature | Single pack | | Appearance | Homogenous, uniform, soft viscous paste | | Colour | White and other colour shades. | | Weight per liter | 1.65 ± 0.005 kg | | Viscosity on ford cup B4 at 25° C | 40 - 45 seconds. | | Non volatile matter | 60 ± 05 % by weight. | | Consistency | Brushable - viscosity can be adjusted by water. | | Be diluting with | Water | | Coverage | 5 - 6 sqpare meter per liter per coat. Coverages are dependent on surface unevenness, porosity and dilutation ratio of a paint. | | Dry film thickness | 50 - 60 microns per coat. (dilution 10 - 15 %) | | Capilary water absorption value (W24) | < 0.9 kg /M2 h 0.5 | | Water vapour permeability, WVP, sd value | <0.070 m. | | Abrasion cycles after 7 days agening | 10,000 cycles. | | Beading effect after exposure (droplet effect) | Very good. |
DIRECTION FOR USE
(i) Surface Preparation
The surface shall be free of dirt, dust and earlier paint. Throughly clean the surface. Any repairing of plaster is required must be carried out prior to application of ACRYSIL. No primer is required, because silicone itself bonds strongly to mineral materials. Do not apply on existing oil paints or non - permeable coating like epoxies or polyurethanes. Wash the surface if possible to open the pores for better performance.
(ii)Mixing
For priming coat dilute the paint 25 - 30 % by volume with clean water, mix thoroughly to a uniform liquid and apply by good quality brush.
(iii) Application
For top coats dilute the paint 15 - 20%by volume with water and apply by good quality brush or roller. Two coats are required for better hiding and protection.
(IV)Cleaning
Tools can be cleaned with water immediately after use.
(V)Storage & Shelf Life
Store the ACRYSIL at cool and dry place away, from sunheat in original sealed containers. Shelf life is six months from the date of manufacture.
Packings
1,4,20 liters plastic or metal tins.
